Ciaran Stewart

Ciaran Stewart trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on the BA Performance in British Sign Language and English, graduating in 2018. He has since worked extensively as an actor with companies such as  Zoo Co, Paines Plough, Sheffield Theatres, Play, Pie, Pint.

Before training, Ciaran was an Apprentice Theatre Practitioner at Solar Bear, travelling the UK visiting theatres to develop foundation skills; promote deaf inclusive practice and support RCS to develop the BA Performance degree. 

Originally from Ayr in Scotland, now based in Manchester, he’s passionate about work set in small towns, turning classical text on its head and disability justice. 

Fun fact: Ciaran’s first acting job was with Headlong on their production of Junkyard
