Amelia Michaels

Amelia’s directing practice is the love child of her work as both an actor and facilitator. Training firstly as a musical theatre performer and straight actor, she has known the reciprocal joy of performance since infancy. Alongside this grew her facilitation practice initially as a means of financially supporting herself, and evolving into something equally as meaningful.

In 2021, Amelia officially launched her directing practice on the show MANDEM, for which she is also the Writer and Producer. To date she has taken the show to 6 fringe festivals nationwide and is currently working to produce an educational tour.

In 2025 she assisted Corey Campbell (SeaView, Freeman) on Romeo & Juliet (a Belgrade Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and Hackney Empire co-production) and Lynette Linton on Not Your Superwoman (Bush Theatre). 

She's veeeeery excited for Origins 6.0, and can always be bribed with guacamole.
